Apply for a Travel Subsidy to PACTcon 2025

OVERVIEW

The PACT Travel Subsidy is funded by the membership to support the cost of travel to PACTcon 2025 for attendees who could not otherwise join the gathering. 

Most years, the total amount requested exceeds the money available. We make our best efforts to provide some support to all in need, with subsidies typically ranging from $300 to $750, but the amounts we can offer depend on the quantity of donations and the volume of requests.

We thank our generous member sponsors for supporting the PACT Travel subsidy. 

WHO CAN APPLY

To help our limited pool of funds stretch further, we ask that applicants:

• Apply for one delegate per company only.
• Plan for your company to contribute towards the expected expenses.
  • Travel Subsidy recipients must register for the conference, but you are welcome to use the pay-what-you-can-afford Early Bird Rates.
  • The Travel Subsidy does not cover hotel costs.

When determining subsidy amounts, we aim to align with PACT's strategic priorities and broaden the diversity of voices at PACTcon. If the agenda for the Annual General Meeting includes voting on a negotiated agreement, we try to help Regular Member companies (the signatories to those agreements) that need support to send a delegate to the vote. Additionally, we will prioritize:

• First-time attendees
• Applicants from smaller companies
• Applicants from rural or remote regions
• Applicants who would be the sole attendee from their company

IMPORTANT DATES

Travel subsidy applications are now closed. 

We will notify recipients by March 20, 2025.

The PACTcon 2025 Early Bird Registration Deadline is March 31, 2025.
