PACTcon 2025 will be held in Nova Scotia at the following theatres : 

Neptune Theatre (Halifax)

Eastern Front Theatre (Dartmouth)

Getting around Halifax & Dartmouth

Thanks to support from the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), all PACTcon 2025 registrants can receive an HRM transit pass.  

To support delegates  making use of public transportation to travel to and from events and to reduce automobile traffic, particularly in the downtown, Halifax Regional Municipality-core area, PACTcon 2025 will provide transit passes for the durtaion of the conference for attendees who show their event ticket when traveling to and from the event on Halifax Transit.

The ability to provide bulk transit fares for events provides an exciting new opportunity to promote transit ridership and supports the reduction of traffic in the downtown core. 

We suggest using this pass for eco-responsible travel to and from Neptune Theatre, Eastern Front Theatre on Wednesday to Friday of the conference, and any Pre-Conference events or travel to and from the Halifax airport.

HOW TO USE YOUR TRANSIT PASS: 

Attendees can then use their event ticket or pass to travel on Halifax Transit conventional bus routes, ferry, and Access-A-Bus.  

A digital version will be provided prior to the conference to use prior to picking up your physical conference pass at the registration table.

More information about how delegates can access their transit passes will be announced in the spring. 

Please note: The transit pass can be used to get to the hotel, Neptune Theatre, Eastern Front Theatre, and on other excursions in the HRM-area. For transportation to Ross Creek please see below. 

Getting to Ross Creek

PACTcon on Saturday May 24, 2025 will be held in Nova Scotia at:

Delegates will be provided round-trip transportation to Ross Creek with service to and from the Four Points Sheridan. 

Accessible transportation will be provided.

Taxis & Uber

Several taxi companies, along with Uber, serve the Halifax area, and will take you to and from Downtown Halifax in no time.
