Negotiations Masterclass
A Labour Relations Professional Development Offering
10:00 - 6:00 PM at Neptune Theatre
 
This is an all-day specialized training session presented by the Labour Relations Committee and offers a deeper understanding of mastering the necessary skill in negotiations.
 
There are limited spots and registration & an additional fee is required.

Alliance of Asian Canadian Performing Artists (AACPA) / StopAsianHate Gathering

12:00 - 4:00 PM at Neptune Theatre

The Alliance of Asian Canadians in the Performing Arts (AACPA) also known as the StopAsianHate community, will meet in Halifax on May 20 to celebrate and promote Asian Excellence, and rise against anti-Asian racism by sharing voices, faces, and perspectives.

Following the success of the first live gathering of the group in Montreal in 2024, this meeting is once again aligned with PACTcon2025, preceding the start of that event.

AACPA welcomes any and all professional performing artists and arts professionals that identify as being Asian Canadian.

Please visit the StopAsianHate.ca website magnifying the impact and excellence of Asian Canadian live performing-arts professionals with video and text statements from Asian Canadian performing artists. This is a living website and AACPA continues to welcome new statements and submissions.

Spearheaded by Vancouver theatre company Boca del Lupo, StopAsianHate.ca continues to showcase creative expression from hundreds of Asian Canadian performing-arts professionals across Canada, sharing their personal stories of navigating challenges, breaking barriers, fostering growth, and celebrating successes as Asian Canadian artists.

Registration is free - please register in advance so we can assess venue needs.

Black Pledge National Gathering

Envisioning Black Creative Futures:
Real Time Conversations and Toolkit of Opportunities to Dream Forward
A PACTCon / Black Pledge Canada co-offering
1:00 - 5:00 PM at Neptune Theatre
This gathering is open to everyone including both national and local members and is extended especially to the east coast Black creative community.
