Together, this panel will discuss developing partnerships and the ins and outs of touring internationally for TYA companies, highlight the ins-and-outs of bringing TYA to the international market and examine trends in performance for youth and young people. With curated a curated Q & A, the discussion will also engage registrants by opening up the floor for any questions and inquires in bringing productions to life abroad.

Some questions the panel will be investigating include:
  • What are some of the key elements you believe are crucial for a successful international tour?
  • What have you found to be the leading success in developing and fostering international partnerships?
  • How have you found international touring and partnerships differ as a TYA company?
  • What are some of the barriers you have found specifically for touring for TYA?
  • Can you describe different ways you are able to accomplish funding an international tour? This could include funding sources, shared funding between partnering companies, negotiating, and travel planning.
  • Can you discuss any other offerings or engagements that you have found work well within these partnerships to bring more of an enriching experience for young audiences?

Join for an exciting conversation that looks to bring theatre to the next generation of artists and audience members.
