Who We Are:
Based in Stratford, Ontario, the Stratford Festival is one of the world’s foremost repertory theatre companies. It operates year-round, presenting a season of about a dozen plays each year between the months of April and November, a rich stream of digital content and hundreds of events designed to deepen understanding of the plays. For every person a theatregoer sees on our stages, we have seven people working behind the scenes, some of the world’s most dedicated and experienced arts workers.

Job Description
As one of the primary points of contact for our patrons, you’ll play an essential role in establishing and developing the relationship between the Stratford Festival and its patrons. This position reports to the Assistant Manager, Ticketing and Membership and is part of the Ticketing & Membership team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient, consistent, enthusiastic and exceptional customer service
- Solicit and process ticketing and membership orders by telephone and in person.
- Soliciting for a membership and ticketing sales, upselling and selling related items through inbound and outbound phone calls
- Establish and develop the relationship between the Stratford Festival and its patrons
- Promote customer loyalty and confidence
- Providing efficient, enthusiastic and professional customer service
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills with proper spelling and grammar
- Strong and effective problem-solving skills
- Superior telephone communication
- Strong sales skills and experience
- Efficient, enthusiastic and professional

- Reliable team player
Scheduled hours will be across our operational hours:
Monday-Thursday 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.
Friday & Saturday 9:00a.m.-8:00p.m.
Sunday 9:00a.m.-2:00p.m.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous relevant work experience in sales and customer service with a passion for theatre and the arts.
The successful candidate is expected to work shifts that include evenings and weekends, as scheduled.
This unionized seasonal position is located in Stratford, Ontario and will begin as soon as possible.
