Job Description
The Theatre Aquarius Apprenticeship Program supported by TD Bank offers professional development opportunities for emerging IBPOC and/or female identifying individuals to be mentored in the field of their choosing including stage management, directing or technical production (props, wardrobe, lighting, sound, set building or scenic painting).
We are hiring 2- 4 apprentices for the 2025/26 season that runs from September 2025 to June 2026. Placements will be given a paid opportunity to immerse themselves in their respective craft at Theatre Aquarius. With a strong focus on career development, apprentices will gain valuable experience, working alongside Theatre Aquarius' skilled directors and production departments. Apprentice placements can last from 3 – 12 weeks. Apprentices may be asked to do hands-on tasks related to their field, or the apprenticeship may be a mostly observational role.
