Job Description

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration honors the Triwizard Tournament’s most iconic tradition in a whimsical immersive experience overflowing with magic and wonder. You don’t need to love dancing to have fun at this ball: you’ll find everything from magical moments to beautiful photo ops and themed food & drink. You can also stop by the market to browse merchandise and pick up a wand, if you don’t have one already. Ready for the magic to begin?

DATES: Experience is open Monday-Sunday (November 17th-February 2nd).  You will not be required to work every show. 

TIMES: Show dates and times vary upon daily schedule

HOURS: 40 Hours a Week

LOCATION: Montreal, Salon 1861

 ABOUT THE ROLE

• Manage the overall organization, planning and staff for front of house operations to insure a successful performance and guest experience
• Coordinate with local production team  for the successful execution of the performances to insure a positive guest experience
• Validate employee schedules and time sheets.
• Resolve customer complaints, concerns & general needs.
• Work with Fever On-site Coordinators regarding all ticketing operations.
• In coordination with on site vendors (merch, F&B, staffing agency), manage the cleanliness of all points of sale locations.
• Maintain & manage the on site equipment, ensuring all health & safety standards are being followed.
• In coordination with the Fever Ops team, manage & set up the POS systems located at each point of sale.
• Liaising with the Brand Ambassador Vending company for staff assigned to FOH and Retail Operations.
• Communicating with various vendors to ensure smooth operations (custodian, security, F&B, Merch operator, etc).
• Guest Recovery communications with patrons.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of previous relevant experience in a related industry.
• Background knowledge of inventory management
• Exceptional observation skills.
• *Current First-Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have people management and interpersonal skills.
• Must be an effective communicator, team oriented and have strong leadership skills.
• Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must have working knowledge of Google platform.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Fluency in French & English, both written and verbal.
