Balancing Act celebrates at Wrap & Unpack: Toronto!

Join Balancing Act as they ‘wrap’ their national Level UP! Initiative, celebrating three years of incredible work by over 70 performing arts partners across Canada. 

These organizations and collectives have been developing care policies and practices to increase access to employment and enhance work/life balance for artists and arts workers.

The afternoon includes presentations, an announcement of our new web resource portal, and a facilitated conversation visioning where we're headed next.  And of course lunch + childcare + reception!

About Wrap and Unpack: 

Over the 2023-24 season, Balancing Act will WRAP its flagship Level UP! initiative and UNPACK the significant findings of this national three-year project. Balancing Act will touch down in Saskatoon, Montreal, Whitehorse, Halifax, and Toronto, sharing Level UP! resources and engaging in community consultation.

Along the way, an embodied art work will be created that will travel and mirror the progression of ideas from region to region, guiding this journey towards a sector that embodies and prioritizes care and supports artist caregivers.
