We have an exciting opportunity to launch a three-year actor training program customized to persons who live with disability. The Realwheels Acting Academy launched in September 2021.

Job Description

Join the Realwheels Acting Academy team! We are seeking a Voice Over Instructor to teach Beginner Voice Over Acting & Auditioning to our current cohort.  The current cohort consists of five adult students who live with a range of disability.

Ultimately, we are looking for an instructor who has experience working with the Disability Community, but are also open to allies, friends, and those interested in expanding their instructional experience.

We’re also looking for ideas and recommendations around the rental of recording equipment and the potential for doing some of the work in a recording studio (if accessible studio space can be found and is available.)

Compensation

The fee for this work is $70 per hour.

Hours & Location

The Voice Over Instructor will work a total of 18 hours per week, ideally sometime within the May 16 to June 1 timeframe, with classes currently scheduled from Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 pm to 6 pm at The Post at 750 (750 Hamilton Street, downtown).  The schedule can change and be built around the Instructor’s availability, within reason.
