Company Overview
Outside the March (OtM) creates unforgettable immersive encounters—redefining the experience of theatre for a new generation of audiences. Since 2009 we’ve welcomed our audiences to over 20 critically-celebrated, award-winning productions that seek to embody our values of Curiosity, Care, Thrills, Connection and Immersion.
Our values of Curiosity, Care, Thrills, Connection and Immersion are also at the heart of our company culture. We enjoy working with each other. We strive for excellence in our work. And we lead with care, ensuring every one of our team members feels proud of their portfolio and connected to the art we make. We want our staff to feel propelled to bring their best selves to their work—and to be their best selves outside of work.
Upholding this culture means creating an environment where flexibility, communication and accountability are the norm. When we can’t accommodate, we’re clear and honest about why. Accommodations may include, but aren’t limited to: remote workflows; unpaid leave; and other individualized access supports as they arise. We strive to meet our staff’s needs with a generous, anti-racist, and anti-ableist lens, and we’re game to be called-in when we can do better.

Apply if you’re genuinely obsessed with discovering new revenue streams and cultivating new relationships, by enhancing development strategy with creative thinking. A love or appreciation of immersive theatre is a definite benefit. But don’t know what immersive theatre is? No worries, an open heart and open mind are just as important.

We are anti-racist and committed to ensuring that vision includes team members who are passionate about immersive performance and who self-identify as Indigenous, Black, and/or Persons of Colour, and/or who seek equity based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, class, cultural background, ability, and any other intersectional identities.
If you have any questions or accessibility needs, please don’t hesitate to email Katherine Devlin Rosenfeld at katherine@outsidethemarch.ca. We mean it!
