Canadian Theatre thrives on the will of artists and arts professionals to share knowledge and support each other – Mentorship makes our industry stronger.
Our Mentorship Program connects staff at PACT member companies with seasoned arts professionals in the membership. Mentors can provide guidance, tips, and context for staff who are new to PACT, their role and responsibilities at their theatre, their region, and more. The Mentorship Program allows arts professionals at PACT member companies to draw on the strengths of the membership, and benefit from the breadth and depth of experience of other theatre professionals across Canada.
Mentees identify key areas of focus or exploration in a preliminary meetings, and work with mentors on a flexible, mutually-convenient schedule to accomplish learning goals. Mentors are an invaluable resource not only as a source of information, but in their efforts to connect mentees with a variety of colleagues when possible.
