The Apprentice will work closely with the Stage Manager as well as the Artistic Director and Technical Director for the rehearsal and subsequent run of a production. The Apprentice must have training and experience with respect to tasks associated with Stage Management including industry-related functions such as: contact lists, scene breakdowns, blocking, costume and props tracking, schedules, notes, costume maintenance/laundering and communication with the production team as a whole with respect to rehearsal and show run requirements.

Required Skills

Candidates will be currently enrolled in/or graduated from a theatre production program at the college or university level and/or have comparable experience with Stage Management duties and protocols and be career-oriented specifically in the discipline of Stage Management. The candidate should work effectively within a team environment as well as independently. They should demonstrate a good work ethic, excellent and proven problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to use time effectively in meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
