Website The Grand Theatre

July 29 – September 29, 2019

The Project
Titanic, the musical. Book and Story by Peter Stone, Music and Lyrics by Maury Yeston.

Titanic is the company’s annual High School Project production.  The only theatre program of its kind in North America, The High School Project (HSP) began in 1998 with West Side Story. Since then, the Grand Theatre has produced 33 High School Projects. The HSP offers an exceptional opportunity for students to receive education and training in the working environment of a professional theatre. High school students from London and area are mentored by professional artists and coaches in all departments (acting, stage management, props, wardrobe, scenic art, sound, lighting, orchestra, and photography) culminating in a production on the Grand’s Spriet Stage. The initiative provides leadership, creative, and communication skills that serve these students on and off stage – in every area of their lives.

The Candidate
The candidate will be an Equity member with musical theatre background with at least 5 years of professional experience in a unionized environment.  The candidate will also have experience and interest in working with high school aged people. Teaching or coaching experience would be an asset.

The Grand Theatre is an equal opportunity employer, and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.  Please respond by e-mail with a resume and cover letter by April 19, 2019 to:
