Childminders (3 positions)
Reporting to the Directors’ Office Coordinator and working closely with the Stage Management teams, you will supervise minor children who have been contracted to perform onstage roles. Childminders are expected to attend all rehearsals as required, and all performances of the productions for which they are contracted. All shows have the possibility of a three (3) week extension beyond their current closing date, which all Childminders must be prepared to fulfill.
Past experience working with children is preferred but not expected. Previous work in theatre backstage is extremely helpful. Qualified applicants will be required to produce a clear current criminal record check, for the vulnerable sector, as part of the recruitment process.
1st contract The Music Man February 2-November 3, 2018
2nd contract To Kill a Mockingbird and Julius Caesar March 5-November 4, 2018
3rd contract Coriolanus March 5-29 and June 6-October 20, 2018
occasional calls from March 30 to June 5
You must have the ability to work flexible hours during the week and weekends which includes daytime and evenings and some holidays. You are required to fulfill the entire contract period.
