Operations Manager
Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is currently looking to add to its team with skills in the area of festival management, theatre producing, and administration.

Part of Saskatoon’s thriving theatre scene, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is a vibrant and exciting company looking to grow and develop into the future. Run by a small core of permanent staff and a large summer contingent, we are looking for just the right person to add to our core administrative team. The company is in an innovative phase with a major site redevelopment and capital campaign in process.

This position is a senior position reporting directly to the Artistic Producer. Responsible for the administrative success of the organization and the front line management of many aspects of the festival, this position will be an integral part of the future success of this iconic arts organization. We are looking for a dynamic individual who brings a wide range of skills to the table including but not limited to producing, event planning, granting, fundraising, day to day finance, and
people management.

Office management
Oversight weekly bookkeeping
Festival Box Office management
Festival Concession management
Festival Front of House management
Festival Volunteer management
Event planning and coordination
Staff and event scheduling
Staff and artist contracting
Data entry – Excel, CADAC
Mail outs
Box Office setup and reconciliation with internal ticket system
Donor management – Sumac
Oversight of office computer systems and IT consultant

The ideal candidate for this position will be a creative and dynamic thinker who is interested in the challenge of taking advantage of the potential in this organization. The ideal candidate will have the experience and/or training that gives them the ability to take a leadership role in producing a theatre festival.

This is a full-time, year-round position which is very busy in the summer season and more flexible from fall through spring. The position has a salary of between $40,000 and $43,000 annually and a modest health benefits package.
