Drayton Entertainment is seeking creative, committed, and enthusiastic artists looking to transition their careers and remain within the live theatre industry.

A willingness and desire to learn new skills is essential, as Drayton Entertainment will provide on-the-job training. Potential areas include:

This includes, but is not limited to:
• Public relations, including developing and maintaining strong relations with the community, as well as media partners.
• Community outreach efforts, including representing the organization through opportunities designed to foster public awareness and engagement.
• Graphic design, including assisting with the creative design of materials.
• Digital marketing for social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other digital outlets including Google AdWords and AdGrants.
• Special events coordination, including Opening Nights.

This includes, but is not limited to:
• Corporate sponsorship and advertising sales.
• Manage audience relationships, including Membership and cultivation of prospective donors, through the organization’s customer relationship management system.
• Represent the organization at community and special events, including public speaking engagements, presentations, and theatre tours as needed.
• Special Events coordination, including fundraisers, cabarets, talk-back events, and tours.

Roles include, but are not limited to:
• Group sales, including corporate groups, school groups, and private performances, corporate and school groups, and private performances.
• Front-of-House operations, including house management and box office.
• Artistic, including education and engagement programs for youth.

• Passion for live theatre in general, understanding of how the live theatre industry works, and knowledge of Drayton Entertainment including its history and productions.
• Eagerness to learn new skills, as training will be provided by Drayton Entertainment as appropriate to each position.
• Professional demeanor and a lively, engaging personality suitable for cultivating relationships and interacting with a diverse network of stakeholders and the general public.
• Excellent communication skills, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office Suite (all opportunities), and standard social media platforms (Marketing).
• Ability to function effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong time management skills, organizational, research, and planning skills.
• Ability to support the vision of the organization.
• College or University degree/diploma is an asset.
