Tarragon Theatre Taking Applications for the Urjo Kareda Residency
The Urjo Kareda Residency Grant supports the training and artistic residency of an exceptional emerging theatre artist each season at Tarragon Theatre. The deadline to apply is November 6.

What’s Happening in the Wider Community
- Canada’s performing arts community mourns the loss of Indigenous playwright Cathy Elliot.
- The National Arts Centre’s National Creation Fund will begin taking proposals on November 1.
- The Musical Stage Co. has announced George Krissa and Celine Tsai as winners of the 2017/2018 Syd & Shirley Banks Prize for Emerging Musical Theatre Artists.
- The BC Alliance for Arts + Culture has announced that as of December 1, 2017, they will not post jobs that do not include specifics about remuneration on their job board.
