Peer to Peer – Outreach & Engagement
Authentic Engagement with New Audiences
Thursday, December 13, from 1pm to 2pm ET (please adjust for your time zone!)
With Autumn Smith, Education & Audience Development Manager, Canadian Stage, and Chris Stockton, Senior Manager of Learning & Engagement, Theatre Calgary.
Theatres across the country and around the world are looking for creative ways to connect with new audiences. While marketing is one part of the equation, so is connecting with people in a non-marketing fashion.
How can we engage with new audiences to introduce them to what we do without it feeling like just another marketing tool? What kinds of outreach experiences will draw new patrons into the theatre by connecting with us outside of our home? How can we measure the success of programs in the short term and long term? What opportunities are there for collaboration with other departments? How can we create the largest impact for the fewest amount of dollars spent?
Join us for a Peer to Peer session focused on creating authentic connection with new audiences.
This is an ongoing conversation for theatre professionals working in outreach and engagement departments. P2P calls provides an open forum for questions and an opportunity to share challenges and best practices. Whether you have joined one of the previous calls or are ready to jump into the conversation now, sign up for 60 minutes of sharing and support from your national peers.
Group sizes are kept small to ensure maximum participation and engagement. No cost to participate – open to PACT Members and Colleagues who work in outreach, engagement, or other similar areas.
This call is part of PACT’s Peer to Peer [P2P] series
